Northern Exposure Basketball

Thursday, December 13, 2018

Gold Medal is proud to announce the launch of a competitive league for this upcoming Spring -- Northern Exposure Basketball. League games will take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays, and will be based out of Strathroy, Ontario, at Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School. Beginning on March 9, 2019, teams will play three or four (3 or 4) games per day across three (3) weekends for a total of eleven (11) regular season games, and will be scheduled to allow for rest/recovery. Pending playoff schedules, teams will not have to split games between Saturday and Sunday to accommodate for travel. Costs for the season will be $2040/team. Each game will include two certified officials, score/timekeepers, and a certified medic from www.medonsite.ca will staffed for preventative measures. Statistics will be kept online, player and team awards will be presented at the conclusion of the season, as well as a weekly newsletter highlighting stand-out performances, league trends, and game synopses.

Our aim is to give elite-level talent an opportunity to play consistent, structured games against increasingly familiar opponents. We hope to see the best that the region has to offer.
