Competitive Teams

Gold Medal Basketball's competitive program continues to emphasize a long-term, player development philosophy: The success of the younger players is only surpassed by the consistent success of our midget and juvenile teams.

Our program has been recognized as being one of the top programs in Ontario for developing quality players at every level. Our coaches include the most successful high school coaches in London, former CIS players and former CIS coaches.

Our formula is simple: Attract the most dedicated and talented players and provide them with quality coaching.

The season includes two weekly practices in London and games or tournaments that may require out of town travel.

Tryouts begin in September. The tryout schedule for both girls and boys teams can be found on each team's web page.

Costs will range between $550 - $650, depending on the number of tournaments the team enters. This fee covers the costs of Ontario Basketball registration fees, tournament fees, insurance, gym facilities, etc..

Parents can apply for funding with Jump Start and Kids Sport Ontario to assist with player fees. Note that there are no guarantees of funding. Information is available here.
